The New Orleans Lineup:
The lineup includes: Twilight Saga actors Chaske Spencer, Alex Meraz, Daniel Cudmore, Tyson Houseman, Alexander Mendeluk, and New Orleans Celebrities: Garrett Hartley and Kyle Eckel who both played in Super Bowl XLIV, and actors Nelsan Ellis, Wayne Douglas Morgan, Thomas Hyde III, and Johnny Rock.Garrett Hartley: First kicker in Super Bowl history to make three field goals from 40-plus yards.

Charities benefiting from Vampire Baseball™ to include the American Red Cross and Hope for Haiti Now, the 9th Ward Field of Dreams and others. Vampire Baseball™ will also sponsor a blood drive during the game.
"Twilight" stars are teaming up for a special round of Cajun-Style Vampire Baseball in New Orleans on March 20 to aid relief efforts in Haiti. Alex Meraz: (Paul in New Moon & Eclipse) The cast will pitch against a slew of Big Easy celebrities including New Orleans Saints players Kyle Eckel and Lynell Hamilton, in addition to vamp movie veteran Wayne Douglas Morgan, who starred in "The Vampire's Assistant."
Nelsan Ellis: who portrays the flamboyant short-order cook, Lafayette Reynolds, on Alan Ball hit HBO TV series True BloodTickets for the game start at $25 (there's a hot tub option for $55!) with proceeds going to the American Red Cross and Hope for Haiti Now, among others. Another kind of bloodsucker—a phlebotomist—will also be on hand for a blood drive. A meet-and-greet with the stars and a party/concert will follow the game.

These guys were better as actors than baseball players.

We splurged on all the baseball food favorites : hot-dogs, pretzels, beer, pickles, etc.
Hartly's manager. COME ON...I seriously didn't think managers dressed like this, but here's proof!

Despite it being the first day of Spring...the sprinkles of rain came out near the end, but that didn't dampen our baseball spirit.
Brought his drink (can of Sprite) along for the hit.
Struck out, thus he finished his drink while walking back to the dug-out.

40th Jefferson St. Patrick Parade

The annual Metairie Road St . Patrick's Day parade celebrated its 40th anniversary parade last Sunday, March 14 with 55 trucks, 36 floats, and 10 men's marching groups.
